FURIOUS ZOO, the side project of singer-drummer Renaud Hantson, releases its 11th album called "Breaking the Ritual".
Renaud Hantson clearly demonstrates his boundless creativity once again, releasing a new album every year isn't within everyone's reach, and refreshing his stock of ideas is a challenge.
His bandmates Pascal Mulot on bass and Aurel Ouzoulias on drums (who already worked with him in the second lineup of Satan Jokers) are the perfect springboard for Xavier Paladian on guitar (formerly of Snake Eye), who showcases his virtuosity here and co-writes most of the tracks with Hantson. The band, whose talent has won over audiences live with this dream lineup, offers us, after "Fishnet" released in 2023, a Big Rock album that is modern, sensitive, and melodic, in the vein of Winger, Whitesnake and Mr. Big.
Renaud Hantson recorded "Blind Man" with his own voice so that the band would have an introduction for future concerts. FURIOUS ZOO, in addition to being a gathering of exceptional talents, is above all a direct connection with the audience, who emerge convinced at each live date by unstoppable tracks.
The quartet's motto remains rock, ranging from new personal compositions like the fast-tempos "Breaking the Ritual" and "Forged in Fire (200%)", to the very Hard FM "Song for R", "Godamm Process", "Straight Edge" and "Love Like Fire Burn Like Rain" to covers of "You Can't Make It Love" (by Michael McDonald) and "Patterns in the Rain" (by John Martyn).
The band has yet to delight us during its upcoming concerts and we can't wait to see them again.
