SHADYON a été créé en 2002 par Maël (lead guitar) et emmanuel (vocals / rythm-guitar). Initialement orientée vers une approche acoustique, la musique a rapidement évolué vers des sphères beaucoup plus Heavy et électriques.
L'ambiance des compositions oscille entre rythmiques plombées, passages acoustiques et refrains atmosphériques.
SHADYON se situe donc au confluent d'un Heavy au sonorités scandinaves et du Prog. La volonté du groupe étant de privilégier les ambiances et les atmosphères plutôt que la démonstration gratuite.
“Shadyon” leur premier album éponyme est le reflet de la progression du groupe après deux démos “Rising” et “Human Quest” ponctués de nombreux concerts ,notamment les premières parties d'Evergrey, Dark Age, Paragon, Torment, Thuata de Danann… L'aboutissement étant la signature d'une licence avec le label BRENNUS.

SHADYON was created by Maël (lead & acoustic guitar) and emmanuel (voice & rythm guitars). First oriented on acoustic approach, the music quickly has become more Heavy and electric.
The created ambiances are now a mixture of strong rythmics parts,atmospheric chorus and acoustic arrangements.
SHADYON intending to mix Heavy Metal and progressive with some scandinavian touch. SHADYON manage to privilegiate atmosphere rather than useless demonstration.
“Shadyon” their first album, shows the progression of the band after two self -produced demos and various concerts (opening for Evergrey, Dark Age, Paragon, Torment, Thuata de Danann…). SHADYON is now signed for a licence by the label BRENNUS.
