Le guitariste bosniaque Émir HOT marque sérieux ses intentions avec la sortie de son premier opus "Sevdah Metal”. L'album propose une nouvelle fraîcheur au royaume du Metal avec son mélange de Metal mélodique, progressif et néoclassique avec la musique traditionnelle de l’Est des balkans avec une influence particulière puisée dans le pur style bosniaque Sevdah (un genre de Blues bosniaque) pour créer un son qui lui est unique. Ajoutant un peu plus de feu à l'écriture de titres d'Emir et à son travail impressionnant de guitariste, on retrouve à ses côtés la voix puissante de John WEST (ex vocaliste de ROYAL HUNT / ARTENSION) ainsi que le légendaire batteur Mike TERRANA (MASTERPLAN, ex MALMSTEEN, Axel RUDI PELL, ARTENSION) dont le jeu précis et puissant donne encore plus d'énergie aux 10 titres proposés ici.
Bosnian guitarist Emir Hot makes a serious statement of intent with his debut release ‘Sevdah Metal’. The album represents something fresh for the metal realm with its blend of melodic, progressive and neo-classical metal styling mixed with traditional Eastern Balkan music with strong influence taken from the ‘Sevdah’ style of Bosnian music (a Bosnian style of blues) to create the unique Emir Hot sound. Adding more fire to Emir’s impressive song writing and guitar work is the soaring voice of ex Royal Hunt / Artension vocalist John West and drum legend Mike Terrana (Masterplan, ex Malmsteen, Axel Rudi Pell, Artension) whose precise and powerful play add even more energy to the 10 tracks on offer.
