YOTANGOR is above all an adventure with a bunch of friends who’s aim is to deliver their music and their message, one of depth, revolt, a vision of the world as it is today.
Jean guy Pichoustre, guitarist and composer is the founder of this beautiful project. YOTANGOR built itself around Jean guy Pichoustre and Yngrid, the singer. Rapidly joined by Tony Marcos, drums, Patrice Hernandez, bass, Vincent Agar, lead guitar and later on by Damien Castex, keyboards. As Patrice Hernandez had to leave, Clement Lefevre, bass recently joined the team.
In 2009 they released their first concept album "King of the Universe” followed by "We Speak” in 2012, an album bursting with powerful melodies, explosive, thunder-like rhythms and strong lyrics.
The matureness that rises from this album is compelling.
YOTANGOR speaks about life and peoples’ common paths through enlightened and pertinent thought.
If YOTANGOR had a motto it would be "We speak for the voiceless”.

In 2012, YOTANGOR finalised - "We Speak” a 13 track CD of Symphonic Metal from Toulouse France! At the origin of legends about men and civilizations, about places and worlds, this musical adventure puts into perspective and treats equally, personal and collective drama, every day preoccupations and planetary challenges ! In direct line of the colossal and praised "King of the Universe” (2009) YOTANGOR doesn’t lack in courage, passion and greatness of soul as it offers us a second brilliant and modern opus, situated between Metal, Hard Rock and Power Pop, with a merciless point of view on the world as well as on ourselves ! Speaking about current topics such as power (Save Me), racism (racism) environmental awareness (No Man’s Land), money madness (Kings of the day) and about the peoples’ new opiums (Eyes on). YOTANGOR creates emotion through powerful melodies and explosive rhythms, sensitive elements of an unique musical architecture! "We Speak” speaks for the forgotten, the untouchables, the voiceless and denounces those who control, who lie, who mutilate ruthlessly, it seeks to bring those who liberate, who call for change and unite people into the light... With We Speak for the Voiceless * as a motto, a duty, an oath! Around Jean-Guy P, designer, composer, talent scout, and Yngrid YOTANGOR's charismatic singer and concept’s keystone, a few friends, recognized and sharp musicians, in the midst of the Metal Studio Lab have formed a solid core and are now ready for an unprecedented 2012/2013 tour.
