STRATTSON was part of the very active French Hard Rock scene during the first half of the Eighties. With VULCAIN, SORTILEGE, ADX or H-BOMB (To name just a few), the Parisian group is one of these legends which are now worshiped.
Yet, listening or relistening to the unique, in every sense of the term, album “Ouf Metal” (1985) is not a nostalgic act. Actually, violence has nothing to do with nostalgy, whereas an electric shock doesn’t evoke melancholy... This rapid and powerful Hard Rock music, close to Thrash, is an original formula in the French musical background of that time. This unique album, which has been republished by the Brennus label, has a quality of sound that only a few French groups were able to reach then. Don’t miss this !
