2010: SAINTE OMBRE proposes us its 1st album “Contes et Châtiments”.
Formed in 2007, the band will have tested during 2 years, its compositions on stage by forging a solid reputation. In front of a welcome increasingly more enthusiastic of the public, the recording of an album becomes an obviousness. On December 24th 2009, the album “Contes et Châtiments” is born.
If the orchestral side of the musics can class them in the circle too much closed of female fronted Symphonic Metal bands, it is forgotten the resolutely Heavy and Hard Rock guitars and the powerful voice of the singer. Texts, in Molière”s language, telling the fantastic stories of the witches of Salem or even the treasure of the Knight Templars, offer the necessary richness to serve the music, the orchestrations and the varied atmospheres.
Of the pure melody, carried by the fretless bass, in the raw power, 4 members of SAINTE OMBRE take us in the decorations of their “Contes et Châtiments”.
