To date, « Time Goes by » is PYRO's seventh record, released as a double CD.
It contains demo stuff only recorded between 1990 and 2003. Two of the tracks were even recorded back in 1987...!
One peculiar thing about this record: British singers only! For instance, it features the late former singer of PYRO, Dave Danger, the Scot Jay Burnett and the stunning Kevin Wild who was supposed to lead the vocals on Breaking Point at some point.
« Time Goes by » is straight Rock-oriented; efficient, glamorous and punchy... It can't be defined so precisely.
As always, Bruno and Joel show their guitar skills: Bruno on the powerful rhythm side and Joe's world-class solos, establishing him as a gifted shredder.
This would not be complete without Eric Pyro, the former bass player. He offered his talent and technique until 1999, the year he left the band.
At the end of the day, « Time Goes by » sums up PYRO: a musical sincerity on its own.
