"After three CDs, a vinyl, a book and numerous concerts, it was time for Les Chics Types to offer us the recording of a live performance: a testimonial-hymn to the stage, where their Rock energy and communication with the public give the group its true dimension". Mike Lécuyer – Founder of the Bluesiac label
In the story of every group, there are occasions that leave their mark more than others. The evening performance at the Millenium is one of those occasions to be remembered, by Les Chics Types as well as the audience. The album opens with the boogie blues "Sur la route de Tullins" (On the Road To Tullins), the starting point of a trip into the previous three albums of Les Chics Types, at the border of Rock, Blues and Pop. Many of the group's titles have been entirely revisited. There are also a few covers: an allusion to Kent, a figure of Lyonnais Rock, the bluesy cover of Hygiaphone applauded by Louis Bertignac himself, John Fogerty's demonic "Rockin' All Over The World", and a very Rock'n'Roll medley of Lio's songs, also heard and approved by the famous performer of Banana Split.
