"Les Chics Types" is the story of a group of musicians from the region of Lyon (France) who have a passion for rock, blues and folk. Driven by the desire to convey their good mood through their music, they optimistically invite us to join them in their musical world. With their first album, "Une Belle Journée" ("A Beautiful Day"), Les Chics Types quite simply evoked with humor and truth the things that go to make up life, between short spicy anecdotes and satirical lampoons. As for their second album, "Hey! Ma B.O.", they betted on a 100% acoustic version of a record of covers. And they won the bet, judging by the critical acclaim of the record and the backing of the singer Kent, who gave them the introduction track of the CD. Finally, in 2012, the group collaborated with Maryvonne Rippert for the "Alabama Blues" project. A book and a music album were the fruit of this friendship and great complicity. Alabama Blues is the first book punctuated by songs that people can listen to in their entirety and free of charge on a smartphone. The soundtrack of the book is now available in a 33-rpm vinyl edition "Alabama Blues" (Bluesiac / Socadisc).
