Guitarist, composer, interpreter Didier VARELA records and also mixes his albums in his home studio.
Later 30 years of good and faithful services within groups as Les Êtres Humains and Venus Lips with whom he travels France and Europe [biennial events of Turin (It), Marseille or Valencia (Sp), 1st part of Metallica Zenith of Montpellier, Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Elysée Montmartre in Paris, Joan Jett, Calvin Russel, Dr Feelgood in 24 hours of Le Mans, Wayne Kramer, Omar and the Howlers].
Didier begins a solo career with a first album "Remonté à Bloc". The critics and the reception of the public are encouraging (he has the pleasure to open for White Cowbell Oklahoma or Sugar and Tiger) so in 2015, he records "Laissez Moi Faire".
It is on the words in French of his daughter that he writes his Rock 'n' Roll in the devastating riffs. Tackled issues are the ones of the French current events (Artiste, Musique Industrielle or Laicité Egalité ); those of the consumer society (L’Ile Aux Fleurs) or more widely those of the human relations (Le Respect, Confiance et Espérance, En Silence).
Didier speaks to you all these subjects with his hoarse voice, the whole on a devilish rhythmic without fuss accompanied with boiling solos.
Big amateur of Rock 'n' Roll in all his states, Didier is anxious to pay tribute to the Big Chuck Berry and promises to offer on each of his albums at least an interpretation of the master (here Johnny Be Good).
