Formé par Raymz Fiink (chant) en septembre 2002 avec la complicité de Sleaze Fox (Batterie), Church (basse) et de Doctor X (guitare), FIINKY PIE se veut une formation de "pure Heavy Rock n' Roll" pour contrer la masse de groupes neo Metal et faire redécouvrir le vrai Rock à une nouvelle génération.
Décidant de renouer avec l'esprit festif des grandes heures du Hard U.S., ils enregistrent, l'année suivante, un premier album éponyme ;
9 titres rageurs mais toujours mélodiques, un groove et des chorus de guitare que n'auraient pas reniés ZZ Top, des refrains “Kissiens”, une hargne sortie tout droit des premiers Motley Crue et une tonalité générale évoquant le grand Alice Cooper.
Fin 2004 FIINKY PIE se fait remarquer en participant à l'enregistrement du premier tribute au mythique groupe basque KILLERS ; un groupe aux influences Heavy Glam U.S. qui reprend les maîtres du Speed Metal à la française... ça fait jaser !!
Début 2005, le quartet est devenu un trio, plus homogène et "Free & Wild" déboule ; la production de ce second opus est moins crue, plus puissante mais toujours sans fioritures, directe, les guitares tranchantes, la batterie métronomique, la basse vrombissante, le chant mélodique et surprenant par moment ...Mais prenez garde, un extraordinaire modernisme émane de tout ce “vacarme” !!!

Depuis, répétant comme des malades et après quelques concerts de chauffe, nos 3 furieux sont prêts à électriser leurs fans sur de plus grandes scènes.

This band was assembled around Raymz Fiink (vocals) in september 2002 with the complicity of Sleaze Fox (drums), Church (bass) and of Doctor X (guitar).
FIINKY PIE wants to be a formation of "pure Heavy Rock Roll" in order to counter the masses of neo Metal groups and reveal the true nature of rock'n'roll to a new generation of fans.
Deciding to join again with the festive spirit of the great hours of Hard U.S., they record, the following year, a debut album ; it consists of nine angry, yet melodic songs, featuring a groove and guitar solos which ZZ Top would'nt repudiate, choruses reminding one of Kiss, a fierceness of manner which seems to come straight out of Motley Crüe's first albums and an overall tone recalling the best Alice Cooper.
At the end of 2004 FIINKY PIE is pointed out while taking part in the recording of the first tribute to mythical Basque band KILLERS; a group with the influences Heavy Glam U.S. which takes again the Masters of the French Speed Metal ... that surprising!!
At the beginning of 2005, the quartet became a trio, more homogeneous and "Free & Wild" arrive ; the production of this second opus is less raw, more powerful but always avoiding unnecessary embellishments, so as to enhance the sharp guitars, heavy metronomic drums, roaring bass and tuneful yet amazing vocals... Take care, an unexpected, extraordinary feel of modernism emanates from this pandemonium !

Since the album sessions, rehearsing flat out after a few low-key gigs to warm up, our four madmen feel ready to rouse audiences on bigger stages.
